Well, there is not to much to write about beach walks a part that this is a must do activity in zanzibar. Kilometers and kilometers of coastline with stunning beaches with white fine sand just demand for a long stroll!
Walk along the coast and observe village life and get stunned by the beautiful turquoise waters, explore the beach on low tide and discover seastars and other marine life in the natural pools left by the ocean.
Walk out to the sandbanks left at low tide and plunge in the shallow water.
Note that the south east coast offers the longest stretch of coast and we find it is the most beautiful as untouched form mass tourism.
This of course also is possible in other areas in the northwest (kendwa and nungwi) and northeast (matemwe and kiwengwa).
Ask us or the hotel staff for advice – beach walks are of course 100% free…
